About The Zahra Foundation
What does The Zahra Foundation do?
The Zahra Foundation is a charity organization that provides humanitarian aid globally, so people can live self-sufficiently. Inspired by the tenets of our faith, we work to provide spiritual support, food aid, educational support, water and sanitation services, and support to orphans, widows and vulnerable people.
Does The Zahra Foundation hold Ijaza to collect Khums?
Yes. The Zahra Foundation holds ijazas from Ayatullah Sistani, Ayatullah Basheer Hussain Najafi, Ayatullah Ishaq al-Fayadh, and Ayatullah Sayed Al-Hakim.
What are your administrative costs?
The Zahra Foundation Ltd has been operating at an annual administrative cost of 5–7% of donations received. These costs help us maintain our infrastructure, support new causes, and ensure compliance is always up to date with local and international regulations.
Fundraising
Can I fundraise on behalf of The Zahra Foundation?
Yes — you can create a fundraising campaign for The Zahra Foundation on LaunchGood. Please contact us at info@zahratrust.au if you would like to create a campaign and we will support you in making your page.
Can I designate my donation to a specific group of individuals or location?
We kindly request donors do not add specifications to their donation, as it is not possible to restrict aid from those in need if they do not fulfil your specification.

How can I get a tax receipt for my donation?
